Following the Imams of Fiqh

Ash Shaikh Mir Asedullah Quadri

The followers of certain groups among Muslims argue that the 'following' (Taqleed) of four Imams of Islamic Jurisprudence (Imam Abu Hanifa, Imam Malik, Imam Shafi'i and Imam Ahmad - رضئ اللہ تعالی عنہم) is not correct. They argue that everyone should read Quran and Hadith independently and judge what is right and what is wrong for them. Needless to say that this is not a correct understanding. We have discussed this issue in detail in this book.
